SECTOR (Safety, Environment, Compliance, Training and Online Record Keeping)
SECTOR (Safety, Environment, Compliance, Training and Online Record Keeping) is a laboratory safety management platform used by EH&S, PIs and Laboratory Staff to aid in the development of required documentation and used to track compliance. SECTOR is a centralized hub for all laboratory safety functions, and was designed in a way to reduce administrative burden on laboratories seeking to maintain compliance with applicable regulations and institutional policies.
Laboratories can use SECTOR to:
- Address Corrective Actions from periodic inspections
- Manage Laboratory Rosters
- Complete Laboratory Hazard Assessments
- Track Training Compliance
- Complete Laboratory Self Assessments

Laboratory Staff – PIs can create accounts for all laboratory staff by simply adding them to the laboratory roster.
