Research Orientation

The Office of Research Services (ORS) offers research orientations to both faculty (new and established principle investigators) and non-faculty (clinical research coordinators, managers, post-docs, etc).

• The faculty orientations are held Mondays from 3:00-4:00pm, Fridays from 8:30am-9:30am, or upon request.
• The non-faculty research orientations are held on the second Tuesday of each month, from 11:00am-12:00pm, third Thursday of each month from 2:00-3:00pm, or upon request.

During these orientations, we guide both new and existing research staff on how to navigate the internal research infrastructure within MSHS, review communication support strategies, and cover the ORS Research Roadmap which provides a wide range of research tools. We also briefly introduce research personnel to the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) “OnCore”.
