The Office of Research Services (ORS) offers Faculty Research Orientation for new and established principal investigators, as well as the Research Bootcamp for non-faculty members, including clinical research coordinators, managers, postdoctoral fellows, and other research staff.
During these orientations, we guide new and existing research staff on navigating the internal research infrastructure within MSHS, review communication support strategies, and provide an overview of the ORS Research Roadmap, which offers a wide range of research tools. We also briefly introduce research personnel to the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS), “OnCore.”
Faculty Orientation
The faculty orientations are held Mondays from 3:00-4:00pm, Fridays from 8:30am-9:30am, or upon request.
Research Bootcamp
The in-person Research Bootcamp: Strengthening Onboarding for Non-Credentialed Research Staff is offered every other month. Attendance is mandated for new research staff; however, anyone interested is welcome to join.
