IATA-Dangerous Goods Transport Training
Available For
Individuals who would like additional training on the packaging and shipment of dangerous goods.
What
Provides knowledge in the regulations governing the packaging and shipment of dangerous goods such as human and animal specimens or dry ice. A certificate of completion is awarded upon completion of the training and a quiz.
Laboratory personnel that receive this certification may be eligible to become an exempted shipper, and may avoid certain steps of the Hazardous Materials Shipping process detailed here.
Access Instructions
A fund number will need to be provided to EH&S to access training.
