Research Orientation
The Office of Research Services (ORS) offers research orientations to both faculty (new and established principle investigators) and non-faculty (clinical research coordinators, managers, post-docs, etc).
- The faculty orientations are held Mondays from 3:00-4:00pm, Fridays from 8:30am-9:30am, or upon request.
- Starting September 2025, we are offering an in-person Research Bootcamp: Strengthening Onboarding for Non-Credentialed Research Staff every other month. Attendance is mandated for new research staff; however, anyone interested is welcome to join. For more information, please open a Research 411 ticket.
During these orientations, we guide both new and existing research staff on how to navigate the internal research infrastructure within MSHS, review communication support strategies, and cover the ORS Research Roadmap which provides a wide range of research tools. We also briefly introduce research personnel to the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) “OnCore”.
