Two New Free CITI Learning Modules for Educational Opportunities

Feb 1, 2022 | Conduits News

The Office of Research Services (ORS) and ConduITS Institute for Translational Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai has recently added two new CITI Program learning modules for clinical research coordinators (or anyone at Mount Sinai) to access for educational opportunities.

The CRC Foundations course provides clinical research professionals with basic training tailored to the CRC’s fundamental role in the conduct of clinical trials. It is designed for new CRCs and can be used by organizations as onboarding training. It may also be useful to those pursuing a career in clinical research.

The CRC Advanced course provides clinical research professionals with advanced training tailored to the CRC’s critical role in the conduct of clinical trials. It is designed for CRCs who have taken CRC Foundations, or those with two or more years of experience as a CRC. It complements the foundational course and may be used for professional development and/or as a refresher course.

To access these new courses please sign into your existing CITI account or if you would like to set up a new account or transfer an existing account from a previous institution please see the instructions to make sure you are correctly affiliated with ISMMS on the training page of the Research Roadmap here.

For more information see this page of the Research Roadmap. If you have any questions you can place a Research 411 ticket with The Office of Research Services.

ConduITS is supported by NCATS of the NIH’s CTSA Program. Any use of CTSA-supported resources requires citation of grant number UL1TR001433 awarded to ISMMS in the acknowledgment section of every publication resulting from this support. Adherence to the NIH Public Access Policy is also required.
