Plans for LEAPP

Feb 7, 2024 | Conduits News, Edition 3

We are in the process of developing and implementing a Leadership Enhancement and Advancement Partnership Program (LEAPP) to bring together investigators and community participants to collaborate on team science with a community based focus.  This will be informed by our previous team science training for community members – both synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities for community members fostering team science. We will be collaborating with Crispin Goytia and Luz Guel to further this effort.

Team Science Award

The Team Science Award focuses on collaborative research team and underscores the emerging importance of interdisciplinary teams to the translation of research discoveries into clinical applications. This award will showcase outstanding role models of collaborative, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research – especially spotlighting multidisciplinary communication and engagement and team cohesion and provide a venue to acknowledge the importance of Team Science in solving complex and meaningful problems, significantly impacting human health and advancing novel solutions in the field of translational research.  The winner will be announced in March.
