Research Integrity

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) Research Integrity Office is dedicated to serving the research community by promoting a culture of integrity and ethical behavior in science.

Office of Research Services (ORS)

ORS assists the research community with how to navigate the internal research infrastructure and external research agencies; delivers research orientation for new faculty and staff; offers consulting services, ongoing training, education, and communication support; and provides a wide range of research tools.

Mount Sinai Innovation Partners (MSIP)

MSIP is responsible for driving the real-world application and commercialization of Mount Sinai discoveries and inventions, and the development of research partnerships with industry. Our aim is to translate discoveries and inventions into health care products and services that benefit patients and society.

Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC)

Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) ensures that the research conducted at Mount Sinai that involves recombinant and synthetic nucleic acid molecules, biohazards, and potentially infectious materials complies with the NIH Guidelines, regardless of the source of funding. The IBC evaluates protocols involving human subjects or animals,  and serves as a resource for obtaining information on how to conduct research activities in a safe manner.

Finance

Oversees and provides core support and guidance to School personnel for many financial operations and business practices. This includes assistance with budgets, payroll, research grant fiscal stewardship, asset management, and travel reimbursement.
