What is the CRC Bootcamp?
The CRC Bootcamp is a mandatory, 1-day in-person orientation designed to onboard newly appointed Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) at Mount Sinai. The program provides foundational training in conducting responsible and impactful research.
Why Attend?
The orientation equips new CRCs with essential knowledge and skills for effective research practice, including study management, regulatory compliance, and institutional processes.
Who Should Attend?
All newly appointed CRCs who started after January 2025 are required to attend. Ongoing monthly lectures are open to all research staff and recommended for new CRCs after completing orientation.

- Next Session: November 12, 2025
- Frequency: Starting 2026, generally every second Friday of the month (with a few exceptions)
- Format: In-person, Hess Seminar Room – 1470 Madison Avenues
Optional Monthly Lecture Series
- Start Date: October 2025
- Frequency: Monthly, Third Wednesday of each month from 12PM-1PM
- Format: 60-minute virtual session
