Nov 6, 2025 | Conduits News, Edition 8

Who Should Use the Research Roadmap at Mount Sinai?
Researchers, research teams, and trainees within the Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS), including any research professional at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS).

What is the Research Roadmap?
The Research Roadmap is a centralized, online resource that provides essential information, guidance, and access to research infrastructure, policies, services, and systems. It supports the research community in navigating both internal processes and external agencies. The Research Roadmap helps to improve access to research services and resources, while streamlining problem solving and process improvement. With these tools, research teams and trainees navigate systems that ensure safe, rigorous, and compliant research.

Where and When Can You Access the Research Roadmap?
The Research Roadmap is available online 24/7 for everyone to access for their research needs.

Why Should You Use the Research Roadmap?
Using the Roadmap, you can access reference information about research infrastructure, policies and systems throughout the Mount Sinai Health System. You can attend Research Orientations, receive guidance, and access materials for research faculty and staff. You can also access essential information for research teams on required systems, training, policies, and resources needed to conduct research at ISMMS.
