What is the Community and Collaboration Core?

Oct 2, 2023 | Conduits News, Edition 2

The goal of the Community and Collaboration (CC) core is to improve the health of individuals and communities across the lifespan by expanding community engagement across ConduITS and the CTSA Network.

The CC core does this by:

  • ensuring that research is rooted in community concerns
  • sustaining/scaling innovative engagement
  • fostering collaborative multidisciplinary team science to advance clinical and translational science that improves the health of individuals and communities across the lifespan

We aim to develop the capacity of community members and organizations to conduct research and to help researchers develop the knowledge and skills to work with community stakeholder partners in a way that meets the needs of all parties.
