American College of Gastroenterology: Clinical Research Award

Patient-oriented research conducted with human subjects should explore new diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, material of human origin, such as tissues and specimens and/or explore mechanisms of human disease. Projects should be translational and directly applicability to clinical care.

Amount/Duration: up to $50,000. Salaries not provided for PI or Co-Investigators. Support staff salaries may be permitted, depending on justification. Major equipment typically not supported. Indirect costs, travel, & manuscript prep costs not supported.

Eligibility: At least one of the investigators must be an ACG member or trainee member at the time of submission. Physicians in training must be supervised by a senior/experience investigator
